Why can't we all take mid-day naps like in preschool?

For serious. I'm exhausted out of my mind. We had a great weekend though. Our friends Tina and Tom (and their dog Belle) came down from the Bay area AND Jerad's best friend Travis came down from San Ramon.

Friday night we went to Taylor's house to celebrate his 25th b-day. There was delicious food, his bluegrass band, a lot of beer and we played a bunch of pool and cards.

On Saturday, we celebrated Jerad's birthday a little early with a Rock Band/bbq party. It lasted until around 1:30 in the morning. Seriously, if you haven't played it yet you need to try it. that game is addicting! Also, let me illustrate how tired I am. This is my first attempt at that paragraph: Saturday we had a bbq for an early party to celebrate Jerad's 26th b-day because of him being a year older with a bunch of our friends and stuff. We played Rock Band till around 1:30 AM in the morning.

You can thank me for proofreading later. Or at least attempting to.

Sunday Jerad somehow had the energy to play racket ball with Tom at 9 in the morning and I slept through going to my yoga class and got out of bed at... no, I'm to embarrassed to say it.... Okay... 11:15. Wow. I'm just too much of an old woman for two weekends in a row of partying I guess:) He was nice enough to bring me my favorite omelet from Touch of Paso, hash browns, and their homemade wheat toast. Hmm, maybe I'll sleep in more often? Once he got back we cleaned up a bit and packed the dogs in the car (now that we have 3 its getting crowded) and headed for the beach. It was bea-you-tee-full!

That night we went over to Travis's mom's house and had dinner and hung out with his family and brother Joey and sister Jill. We played more Rock Band... since we're obsessed and all:) People went home and drifted to bed but we ended up visiting with Travis until around 1 in the morning.

I don't think I got to bed before 2 or 2:30 all weekend. The last time I got a decent night's sleep is last Wednesday. I'm dying here. Since I have to get up at 6 every day, I am the type that likes to try to get in bed at 10. Or at least be 11. Ugh. I didn't even have time to catch this week's Desperate Housewives.

I think we are hanging out with Trav again tonight, then Tuesday we have our 2 hrs of Western dance classes, Wednesday is the Dave Ramsey financial/Bible class Beth talked us into (thanks frienemy :) and then it gets fun.

Jerad's parents are taking us to see Randy Travis at the Casino on Thursday for his birthday. Sweet!

Friday-Sunday we are camping with a bunch of friends.

The next weekend Sheryl is getting married...

The weekend after that we are supposedly having a Halloween party at our house that I still haven't sent out the invites for...

My gosh, seriously every weekend pretty much from now till February is filled up with something or another. All of a sudden I'm going to be 40 years old and wondering where the time went. I just want a nap... or some time to enjoy it maybe?

In an effort to distress de-stress me, Jerad is planning our 3 year anniversary in December by himself. We'll see how that one goes. I'm just remembering how he "took care of" my birthday party and did a great job... except for the part where he didn't invite ppl until 3 days before the party. At least if that's all he messes up it will be okay since I'll know when to show up right?

And babe, if you are reading this, Rock Band in any way, shape, or form, does NOT constitute a Happy Anniversary. Even with candles.
