Melinda just posted this, and while I am not a 1/10th as funny... in honor of Jerad's recent birthday, here we go!

How many birthdays have you celebrated so far?
Well I have celebrated a ton of birthdays... usually my birthday gets stretched out for a few weeks because I'm needy like that, but officially I just turned 24

When is your next one coming up?
August 30th. A long time!

If you could get anything, realistically speaking, what would you ask for?
Hmmm, a pony would be nice. Or a shiny new bike. Heh, seriously though I miss having horses and would love a new bike... other things I would enjoy would be having someone that was not me deep clean my house, a massage, or anything sparkly. Steph is to shiny as a bug is to a zapper...

If you could ask for something magical or superpowers, which kind?
Well, if it was something boring, I would say to always have enough time, and when I reached in my pocket to always have the exact amount of money that I needed.

If I wanted to live a little I'd say the power of shape shifting and tele-portation!

Who do you want to be with during your birthdays?
Like I said, I'm needy. So I like some time just with my boy, some time with friends, and then the fam time. Alone time is also a bonus. I'll take what I can get!

How do you plan to celebrate your upcoming birthday?
Hmm. Doing something so fabulous it should be illegal.

What was the worst present you ever got on a birthday?
Heh, well, my worst present is no present because my birthday was forgotten by someone who should not have forgotten. Also, I am a BIG card person. I save them all... and Jerad routinely forgets the cards. Well, he gives them to me about a month after the fact (he is getting better. 2007 was a rough card year).

What was the worst birthday fiasco you ever had?
This wasn't a "fiasco," but on my 16th b-day, my boyfriend and best friend Tina planned a surprise b-day party for me. Tina brought me to the house and everyone inside had gotten so engrossed in what was on TV they forgot about the surprise part so they just sat there and didn't notice me coming in and I was really confused about what was going on.

Then my 21st b-day my significant other took me to Vegas and we got in this HUGE fight over nothing... and he left me drunk and stranded and I didn't know what hotel we were in. Not fun. I don't know if that completely counts as a fiasco though because I won $322 on a penny slot machine after spending $.03...

Did you ever purposely give someone a crappy gift?
Yes. When I worked at Hallmark we would do a "Secret Santa" every year where you gave one present every week in December, then a big gift at the end. I got my friend Emily so I gavce her terrible gifts every week to throw her off (like used pencil erasers), and then something much nicer at the end.

Who would you never ever ever want to attend your birthday?
Michael Vick? Boring people. People who vomit easily (I do not do well around that). seriously, what is this question?

What was the best birthday present you've ever received?
Oh man, I am really bad at remembering these kind of things... how about anything thoughtful? Or whatever you got me this/last/any year?

What was the best birthday you've ever had?
This last year was way fun!

Why was it so great?
Spending time with my honey bunny... spending time in Monterey, seeing so many great bands, spending time with friends, and that Jerad put so much effort into planning it. Oh also I LOVE my new Sony cam. That is one of my fav. b-day presents for sure!

What is your fave birthday activity, even if you haven't done it (yet)?
Er, how could it be my favorite if I haven't done it? In that case I would have to say, winning the lottery, traveling to Australia, Greece, and Thailand for 2 weeks each, then coming back home and building our dream house on enough property to have horses. In the middle of that, I would get pregnant.... well, since this is a fantasy, a stork would just drop some kids off on the porch, and all my friends who have moved away would come back and move right next door. Hahahaha that would be a pretty kick ass b-day.

Who would you love to come to your birthday to celebrate with you?
My friend Erik up in OR, Tina and Tom in SF, all the usuals. You if you're fun...

What did your family do to celebrate your birth/etc?
Did a little dance? I have no idea.

What did/will happen for your 21st birthday?
Went to Vegas, seriously wanted to kill myself my the end, and came home!

I guess I am supposed to say Jerad otherwise I am calloused? Jk, of course ily babe.

What would you get them for their birthday if you could give them anything? Well, if it could be ANYTHING, I would say a road trip to the rest of the States that he hasn't seen because I know that is something that he really wants to do. Also on said road trip, I would not be "helpful" in the navagation. Then when he got home there would be a new John Deere sitting in our driveway. Nice eh?
