I guess that's one way to get some rest...

You know how I've been whining about being tired and too busy and blah blah blah? I guess it caught up with me last night. Jerad called me at 5 and said that he would be working late, so not to come pick him up, and he could probably get a ride later but would call me if he couldn't.

So, I meandered home.

I decided to turn on the election coverage before making dinner... and woke up 2.5 hours later. I had fallen asleep on the couch with my boots on and everything. The sucky part is hat woke me up was Jerad coming home and apparently he had called me about 12 times because he DID need to be picked up.

Sorry babe.

He gave up and took a company van home (which also meant I got to sleep in a little this morning since he had to take it back so I didn't drive him).

Luckily he's sweet and didn't mind and figured I must be exhausted to pass out like that, sleep through his calls, and all three dogs and three cats barking/meowing/howling for their dinners. I do have a history of just passing out on the couch when I get sick. The good thing is, he has a history of being amazingly sweet. So he dealt with the pets, made me dinner, and we got in bed early and he read to me for like an hour then gave me a massage. When I say "early," I mean like 8:00.

But, I am feeling much much better today. I think I just needed some rest. Looking back, I haven't actually been sick since March. One little time in July, but that was just cause of something I ate. This is super rare for me. I used to ALWAYS be sick. I think changing my diet so much this year, plus taking such good supplements has made a big change in my immune system. That and working out and drinking such copious amounts of water:)

I am just crossing my fingers that I don't get ill because I have about 2 weeks of vacation left for the year (plus the 2 weeks off we get PAID) and I do not want to waste it being sick haha.

In other news, I heard something about we have a new President? JK.
